Milbrulong is a locality in the central east part of the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The locality is south west of the state capital, Sydney and south west of the regional centre Wagga Wagga in the Lockhart Shire local government area. The standard gauge Oaklands railway line passes through the locality. At the 2006 census, Milbrulong had a population of 366. The place name ''Milbrulong'' is derived from the local Aboriginal word meaning "Rosella parrot".
